Now I am confused as I haven't touched any Windows things, in fact, the last month or so has just been a bit of browsing on it. I tried uninstalling the device hoping it would pick up the correct driver on its own, but that didn't happen and it automatically appeared again under the list with it still having an error. Then it redirected me to windows update where of course, everything is up to date. So I clicked update driver and tried to find something online but it said it couldn't find any. The other drivers (like Realtek HD audio) are in ease. ![]() I noticed Intel High Definition DSP drivers are missing (code 28). Hello, Since couple of weeks I dont have sound on my Windows 11 laptop. The drivers for this device are not installed. When I double click on it, this is the text that comes up: ![]() ![]() The error in Device Manager shows "Intel High Definition DSP" under "Other Devices". It was fine but I have been traveling so haven't used it as much. Now, my SP4 is all updated and windows update shows no pending updates. ![]() Windows Defender has been showing me an error for a few days now and I discovered that I may have a driver problem on my SP4. ![]()
